N. California full reservoirs

Following three years of dry conditions Northern California is now experiencing something we haven’t seen since 2005…full reserviors. “we’re 98 percent full, normally this time of year we are getting into the warmer weather but this year what’s different is that we still have some storms on the way,” according to Shasta County Bureau of Reclamation Spokesperson Sherri Harral. And with more wet weather on the way the Bureau has decided to release more water into Northstate rivers and streams. “Right now we’re releasing about 15,000 CFS, normally we’d be releasing between 8,000 to 12,000.”
